H. Glenn James, MAI

Glenn has been performing a broad range of commercial real estate and appraisal valuation services since starting his business career with Dun & Bradstreet. While employed by the Portsmouth Redevelopment & Housing Authority, he began that city's first local rehabilitation loan program utilizing tax-exempt bonds. He then began doing market analysis and feasibility studies for large scale apartment complexes, evaluating investment properties and developing portfolios. He continues to perform a wide-range of appraisal and appraisal consulting services to various agencies including real estate firms, investors, financial institutions, and government agencies.

Glenn is a graduate of Wake Forest University, and has completed postgraduate studies in real estate at the Wharton School, New York University, and the University of Virginia. He is licensed as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser by the Commonwealth of Virginia and State of North Carolina, and he holds the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. He has served as the president of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and continues to sit on the board. In 2008 he was appointed by the Governor of Virginia to the Virginia Real Estate Appraiser Board; he currently serves as Vice Chair.


Virginia Henderson, MAI

Virginia performs appraisals of all types, with an emphasis on commercial, industrial, and multi-family. She was one of the first women in the Hampton Roads area to achieve the MAI designation, and has been appraising commercial property in the Hampton Roads area since 1989. She is a graduate of Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.


Stephanie Chick

Stephanie holds an undergraduate degree from the University of West Florida, and she completed her MBA at Brenau University. She has also completed all of her MAI coursework from the Appraisal Institute. She is licensed as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser by the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is a board member of the Hampton Roads Chapter of the Appraisal Institute, and also attended the Leadership, Development, and Advisory Council hosted by the Appraisal Institute.
